Job summary

Protyre Autocare in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant Centre Manager to join our growing team. This hands-on, dynamic role focuses on delivering business objectives through effective centre management and delivering high levels of customer service.

You will assist the Centre Manager in the operation and daily running of the depot, support the workshop team, drive KPIs, manage stock, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 6 months.
• Workshop experience and management experience.
• Experience leading a team and coaching staff.
• Strong understanding of car technology and health & safety requirements.
• Experience in account management and commercial awareness.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service focus.
• Ability to support technicians in the workshop.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Centre Manager in the operation and daily running of the depot
• Supporting the team in the workshop mechanically
• Playing a key part in the Centre targets including key performance indicators
• Overseeing the maintenance of stock values within the centre
• Offering and delivering excellent customer service
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with Company Policies and Procedures

About the role:

About you:

Technical or Mechanical background / knowledge.

The ability to support the technicians in the workshop ifrequired

Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as is the ability and desire to coach and mentor the team

Previousexperience leading a team

A high levelof understanding of car technology

Working knowledge of relevant Health & Safety requirements

Experience of account management

Commercial awareness to maximize business opportunities

Full UK Driving Licence
