Job summary

ODIN RECRUITMENT GROUP LIMITED is seeking a Workshop Manager in the North West to lead a team of 11 engineers across two sites, driving productivity, quality and continuous improvement.

You will be the primary technical contact for customers and suppliers, with hands-on leadership and strong mechanical knowledge of gearboxes, motors, engines, pumps and rotating equipment. A competitive package includes £50,000–£54,000, 10% bonus, overtime and 33 days holiday plus a company van.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Mechanical Supervisor or Team Leader.
• Strong knowledge of gearboxes, motors, engines, pumps and rotating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 11 engineers across two sites.
• Drive productivity, quality standards, and operational processes.
• Deliver training and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as the main technical point of contact for customers and suppliers.
