Job summary

ODIN RECRUITMENT GROUP LIMITED is seeking a Workshop Manager in Scunthorpe to lead a team of 11 engineers in a busy workshop. The role blends hands-on technical work with strong leadership to improve productivity, quality and continuous improvement across two sites.

You will be the primary technical contact for customers and suppliers, manage workloads, develop skills, and uphold safety standards. Salary is £50,000–£52,000 plus a 10% bonus, overtime and 33 days holiday, plus a company van for

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or Team Leader.
• Strong technical knowledge of gearboxes, motors, engines, pumps, and rotating equipment.
• Hands-on experience with stripping, inspection, and repair of mechanical components.
• Ambitious and ready to progress into a Workshop Manager role.
• Comfortable with travel and working across multiple sites.
