Job summary

Heart of Kent Hospice in Aylesford invites a passionate Registered Nurse to join our twilight shift team. Working 18:30 to midnight, 19.25 hours per week across weekends, you will deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

You will contribute to symptom management and end-of-life care, collaborate with the MDT, and participate in quality improvement and CPD. An enhanced DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with active registration
• Proven commitment to continuous personal development
• Proven achievement in quality improvement
• Experience working in a palliative care setting
• Knowledge of symptom management, end of life care and recognizing palliative care emergencies
• Knowledge of the key CQC standards

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care on twilight shifts
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and deliver care
• Contribute to symptom management and end-of-life care planning
• Engage in ongoing quality improvement and CPD activities
