Job summary

Heart of Kent Hospice in Aylesford, Kent, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a permanent part-time role (21 hours 30 minutes). The successful candidate will join a small multidisciplinary team to provide compassionate, patient-centred palliative care, with a focus on communication, teamwork and continuous improvement.

An Enhanced DBS check is required, and the role offers shift allowances for weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Experienced Registered Nurse with passion for palliative care.
• Keen to recruit nurses with excellent communication and team working skills.
• Committed to developing practice and supporting patients and families.
• Experience with symptom management, end of life care and recognizing palliative care emergencies.
• Familiar with CQC standards and quality improvement.
