Description
Support and co-ordinate the effective management of the QVC UK Account to reach commercial targets, increase and re-engage community and maintain No.1 Beauty brand position.
Key contact and responsibility for account support and sales liaison with ELEMIS operations: Management of critical path, purchasing and forecasting liaison and inventory movement and maximization with all key stakeholders at ELEMIS and QVC.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in the effective management of channel inventory requirements by liaison with purchasing and supply chain to ensure optimum stock levels are maintained, purchasing processes followed and preferred vendor status maintained with QVC
- Support the creation, costing and execution of a consumer focus promotional calendar including top tier promotions and ongoing ranging of ELEMIS best-sellers for replenishment
Account Co-ordination
- Assist in the creation of the TV Shopping annual plan in line with ELEMIS UK strategy, including key promotional lines, NPD, exclusives and reorder lines all proposed and costed in line with ELEMIS commercial guidelines
- Develop positive working relationships with the key QVC UK contacts, owning maintenance of shared tracker
- Ensure all buys confirmed by QVC are communicated to demand planning & operations and next process steps are initiated
- Monitor QA process managed by TV Shopping Supply Chain Coordinator. Ensure the smooth running of the QA evaluation process to meet delivery deadlines
- Working closely with ELEMIS TV Shopping Supply Chain Coordinator to ensure orders are raised by QVC in a timely manner and kit room and operations have full visibility of show dates and deadlines
- Lead weekly PO and critical path review meetings with internal and external stake holders – ensure all documents and trackers are kept up to date
Inventory Management
- Assist in monitoring and management of the inventory held by QVC: ensuring all stock has an acceptable rate of sale, return rate and each SKU in inventory has an agreed plan – communicating risks and opportunities to line manager
- Ensure ELEMIS inventory is managed effectively by working closely with ELEMIS purchasing and supply chain - ensuring stock ordered, business cases and NPD forecasts are considered for proposal each month
- Monitor and effectively manage QVC exclusive inventory of collateral and accessories to ensure no out of stocks. Ensure regular catalogue status with imagery and stock value is reviewed by key stake holders
New Product Development
- Attend weekly TV Shopping Team meeting with NPD to monitor status of all TV shopping exclusives and briefing of new projects following QVC UK bi-annual brainstorm meetings
Commercial
- Support the Head of TV Shopping and Account Manager weekly / monthly reporting of performance of all channel and commercials – own tracking of airtime and live show sales
- Co-ordinate show reports for senior management including updates on sales figures and identify areas for improvement after shows including sales presentation, product range and mix

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Must have had key account co-ordination / support experience and a proven track record of building strong relationships with business partners
- Previous experience of working with QVC, other home shopping networks, Online or mail order companies is desired
- Commercially astute with business acumen and personality to own, drive and actively champion the QVC business
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organisational skills
- Good influencing and interpersonal skills
