Job summary

Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Learning and Skills Service is recruiting two Tutors to deliver ESOL and Community Interpreting programmes. The role covers planning, delivery and quality assurance for adult learners, supporting progression to qualifications and employment goals.

Typical hours are 33 per week during term time, with pro rata salaries from £25,519 to £26,823. The post is subject to DBS checks and right to work in the UK requirements.

We have an exciting opportunity for two Tutors to join the Learning and Skills Service at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.

The Role

As a Tutor, you will be responsible for planning, delivering and quality assuring high-quality learning programmes in ESOL and/or Community Interpreting. You will support adult learners to develop their skills, achieve qualifications and progress towards their personal, educational and employment goals.

Working as part of a supportive and ambitious team, you will play a key role in creating engaging learning experiences that encourage participation, achievement and progression.

This role is Term Time Only + 5 days, 33 hours per week. Pro rata actual salary is £25,519-£26,823.
