Job summary

Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council's Learning and Skills Service is hiring two Tutors to plan, deliver and quality assure ESOL and Community Interpreting learning programmes for adults.

You will help learners develop English language skills, achieve qualifications and progress toward personal and employment goals, within a supportive team.

The role is 33 hours per week, term-time only, with a pro rata salary of £25,519 to £26,823 and a competitive benefits package.

We have an exciting opportunity for two Tutors to join the Learning and Skills Service at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.

The Role

As a Tutor, you will be responsible for planning, delivering and quality assuring high-quality learning programmes in ESOL and/or Community Interpreting. You will support adult learners to develop their skills, achieve qualifications and progress towards their personal, educational and employment goals.

Working as part of a supportive and ambitious team, you will play a key role in creating engaging learning experiences that encourage participation, achievement and progression.

This role is Term Time Only + 5 days, 33 hours per week. Pro rata actual salary is £25,519-£26,823.
