Job summary

The Tutors’ Association in Woking seeks SEND tutors to work with children and young people on EHCPs, delivering targeted specialist sessions. You choose your hours from 5 to 15 per week during term time, with a full briefing before your first session to ensure learner consistency.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're placing specialist SEND tutors with children and young people on EHCPs matching them with the right support.

Every placement is fully managed and EHCP-aligned. You'll receive a full briefing before your first session, so you know exactly what to expect and your learner gets consistency from day one.

WHAT YOU'LL BE TEACHING

Primary or Secondary level subjects, GCSE preparation, EYFS play-based learning, Core Curriculum or Post-16 Functional Skills.

LEARNER NEEDS

They may have ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, SEMH, physical disabilities, complex profiles requiring trauma-informed or demand-avoidance-aware approaches.

FLEXIBLE COMMITMENT - YOU CHOOSE

From focused specialist sessions to fuller weekly provision - pick what works for you:

  • Specialist support: from 2–3 hrs/week for targeted 1:1 intervention
  • Part-time: 4–8 hrs/week across one or two learners
  • Full provision: up to 15 hours per week with a dedicated learner
YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU HAVE
