Job summary

Supply Staff Limited seeks an experienced Tutor to deliver face-to-face tuition in Portsmouth, providing English, Maths and Science to students in their homes. The role requires adapting lessons to each learner and supporting SEN/EHCP plans, with travel to pupils’ homes during school hours.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years tutoring/teaching, strong core-subject knowledge, and a full UK driving licence; PGCE/QTS are desirable. Minimum 10 hours per week, with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' tutoring or teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of core curriculum subjects (English, Maths, Science).
• Experience supporting students with SEN and working with EHCPs is essential.
• Comfortable working face-to-face in students' homes.
• Full UK driving licence and access to transport preferred.
• Flexible and reliable with availability during school hours.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week.
• Desirable qualifications: PGCE and/or QTS.
• Additional SEN qualifications or training Pay (if applicable).

• Work with students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
