Job summary

TP Tutors in Southampton is seeking compassionate SEN Tutors to deliver one-to-one tuition across Southampton and surrounding areas. You'll support children with SEND, planning tailored sessions in schools, homes and community settings.

Teach techniques to boost confidence, track progress and adapt lessons. Flexible hours, competitive pay (£25–£30 per hour) and ongoing SEND training accompany a supportive consultant network.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people in mainstream and SEN/SEND settings.
  • Previous tutoring, teaching, mentoring or educational support experience.
  • A good understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
  • Full willingness to travel throughout Southampton and nearby areas.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Plan and deliver engaging one-to-one tuition sessions.

TP Tutors is looking for compassionate and committed SEN Tutors to deliver one-to-one tuition across Southampton and the surrounding areas.

This rewarding opportunity involves supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH and other SEND requirements. Through tailored tuition, you'll help learners build confidence, overcome barriers and achieve meaningful academic progress.

Location: Southampton and surrounding areas
Contract: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
Pay: £25–£30 per hour
Delivery: One-to-one sessions in schools, learners' homes and community settings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
