Overview

Powertutors provides support for children and their families ensuring continuing educational access for children unable to attend mainstream schools. Working with the local authority, we match tutors with students requiring support, ensuring both a professional and pastoral fit and that goals for development are identified and quality throughout our services.

About the Role

You'll work with students on a one-to-one basis in the Dorking, Leatherhead and Redhill area, providing tailored support that helps them grow in confidence and thrive in their learning. Whether you're an experienced SEND Teacher, High Level Teaching Assistant or Tutor, this flexible and rewarding role lets you make a real difference — on your schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Work on a one-to-one basis to help students grow in confidence.
  • Deliver meaningful and personalised education.
  • Focus on teaching with minimal administrative tasks.
Qualifications
  • Experienced in supporting children with SEND (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH).
  • Background as a Tutor, SEN Teacher or High Level Teaching Assistant.
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS (or happy to apply for one).
