Job summary

1st Staff is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Tutor to support students in the Wareham area who have been out of education for a period of time. This role involves delivering personalised tuition in the student's home or local library and helping learners rebuild confidence and core skills, with potential to return to mainstream or further education.

The position offers flexible hours (2–3 hours per day, 5 days a week), with September start and both part-time and full-time opportunities.

• Experience working with SEN/SEMH students and managing challenging behaviours.

• Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and rapport-building skills.
• Own transport beneficial but not essential.

1st Staff are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Tutor to support students in the Wareham area who have been out of education for a period of time. The Role

You will deliver personalised tuition sessions in the student's home, tailoring your approach to meet individual learning needs and emotional wellbeing.
