Job summary

1st Staff is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Tutor to support students in the Bridport area who have been out of education for a period of time. Sessions take place in the student’s home or local library and offer flexibility with hours.

You will deliver personalised tuition tailored to each learner, focusing on core subjects and emotional wellbeing to help rebuild confidence and progress towards qualifications.

• Experience working with SEN/SEMH students and managing challenging behaviours.

1st Staff are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Tutor to support students in the Bridport area who have been out of education for a period of time. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference by helping students rebuild their confidence, develop key skills, and work towards recognised qualifications — with the potential to return to mainstream or further education.

The Role

You will deliver personalised tuition sessions in the student’s home, tailoring your approach to meet individual learning needs and emotional wellbeing.

• Location: Student’s home & local library
• Role: 1:1 Tutor
• Hours: 2/3 hours per day, 5 days per week (during school hours) per student
