Job summary

Tp-Tutors is seeking passionate 1:1 tutors to support primary and secondary pupils across Walsall, Dudley and Wolverhampton. Tutoring will occur at the pupil’s home or within a school setting during school hours, offering tailored educational support based on each pupil’s individual needs.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience, strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills. Experience with SEND or additional learning needs is desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
• Experience working with primary and/or secondary-aged pupils.
• Strong subject knowledge and effective teaching skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND or additional learning needs is desirable.
• Relevant teaching qualifications such as QTS, PGCE or equivalent are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and personalised 1:1 tuition to primary and/or secondary pupils.
• Plan and deliver lessons that meet individual learning needs and objectives.
• Support pupils to improve their academic progress, confidence and engagement.
• Adapt teaching strategies to suit different learning abilities and needs.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide regular feedback.
• Maintain a positive, supportive and safe learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with schools, parents/carers and other professionals where required.

About the Role
