Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd in Retford is seeking a 1:1 Tutor for flexible, part-time or full-time, temporary roles. You will deliver Maths and English sessions to students unable to attend school, in homes, libraries, or schools.

You will plan and tailor lessons to individual needs, align with the national curriculum, and support students with EHCPs. Enhanced DBS is desirable and training provided; you’ll work with a dedicated consultant to match you to assignments.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification/experience (classroom or 1:1).
• Ability to plan and deliver Maths and English lessons following national curriculum.
• Experience of working with students with EHCPs.
• Enhanced DBS (willing to apply).
• Passionate about working with young people.

Responsibilities

• Plan, adapt and tailor sessions to meet individual needs.
• Sessions will take place in students' homes, libraries or schools.
• Provide consistent 1:1 support to students to help them succeed.
• Match sessions to student strengths and progress.

Salary- £30 an hour (dependent on experience/qualifications)
