Job summary

The Edwin Group is seeking a flexible 1:1 Tutor for Mansfield. Roles can be full time or part time, with 1:1 tuition for students unable to attend mainstream education. Start date is 7th September 2026, with Maths and English sessions up to GCSE level.

Delivering across settings, including students' homes or schools, you will support SEND students, build strong relationships, and contribute to a long-term, rewarding impact on young people's lives.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS, QTLS or PGCE.
• Experience working with SEND students.
• Confident delivering Maths and English.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Passion for supporting young people.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 tuition for students unable to attend mainstream education.
• Support pupils with a range of SEND needs.
• Deliver Maths and English sessions up to GCSE level.
• Sessions range from 1-5 hours per day, from 2 to 5 days per week.
• Flexible working across different settings, including students' homes, libraries, or school sites.
• Long-term placements to provide consistency and structure for students.
• Work alongside social workers, SEN teams, and other professionals to support and feedback on student progress.
