Job summary

Mott MacDonald in the UK is seeking expressions of interest from experienced professionals in tunnel and underground infrastructure to lead projects and engineering teams. You will contribute to multi-disciplinary delivery across transportation, water, energy markets, integrating design and field execution.

We value Chartered Engineers with strong leadership and communication skills, focused on safety, technical excellence, and collaborative delivery across complex schemes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent)
• Significant experience in tunnel and underground infrastructure projects
• Strong technical, project management or design management capability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in major infrastructure projects

Responsibilities

• Leading the successful delivery of tunnel and underground infrastructure projects
• Managing multidisciplinary teams across geotechnical, civil, structural and MEP disciplines
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring to developing engineers
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Managing project scope, programme, budget and risk
• Supporting bids, proposals and business development activities
• Driving innovation, digital engineering and best practice across project delivery
• Contributing to the ongoing growth and reputation of Mott MacDonald's global tunnelling discipline
