Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating tube laser cutting machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of quality control procedures and inspection standards.
• Capable of routine machine maintenance and fault identification.
• Good attention to detail with the ability to produce work to tight tolerances.
• Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers, calipers, and tape measures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up laser cutting machines according to job specifications and blueprints.
• Load required programs and parameters into laser control systems.
• Select correct tooling, fixtures, clamps, and materials for each job.
• Monitor machine functions during production to maintain operational efficiency and accuracy.
