Job summary

Prince Albert Community Trust (PACT) is seeking a Senior ICT Technician to deliver reliable technical support across our MAT and partner schools. You will manage Microsoft 365 and Azure services, assist staff and pupils, and ensure secure, efficient use of digital tools.

The role is hands-on and team-focused, with training duties and safeguarding responsibilities integral to daily work. You will join a proactive ICT Team, helping to maintain infrastructure, deliver practical lessons support, and

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across the Prince Albert Community Trust (PACT) ICT Team to staff and students.
• Maintain, install and support ICT infrastructure and digital tools used across trust schools.
• Deliver training sessions for staff and students on software and digital resources.
• Support online safety, data protection and safeguarding practices in ICT usage.

TRUST SENIOR ICT TECHNICIAN

Full Time All Year Round - 36.5 hours

Grade 3, - Scale Point 9-22

We’re seeking a Senior ICT Technician to provide technical support across Prince Albert Community Trust (PACT) as a key member of our ICT Team. Our mission is clear, to support the successful use of digital technologies to ultimately empower our children to succeed in both education and in life.

You will be a pro-active member of the ICT Team providing an outstanding level of service and support to all stakeholders.

We require someone who:

• Has experience in an IT support role including the administration of Microsoft 365 and Azure services;
• Is able to work effectively as part of a team;
• Is able to keep information confidential;
• Is organised, efficient and can manage time effectively working to tight deadlines;
• Is able and confident to work on own initiative whilst still being part of a team;
• Can provide maintenance, installation and support services;
• Can provide technical assistance and software assistance during lessons;
• Can provide training sessions for staff and students and teach the basic use of software programs as necessary;
• Is committed to safeguarding children and to being proactive with regards to online safety, data protection, technical security and keeping children safe online.
