Job summary

Heartwood Learning Trust invites applications for Executive Principals to lead improvement across fourteen schools in Hull, York and North Yorkshire. You’ll work with Principals, supporting, challenging and helping them to lead their schools well.

The role may focus on a single school or a cluster, with travel between York, Hull, Scarborough and Selby. As an associate member of the Executive Team, you will raise standards, develop leadership capacity, and help shape the Trust’s strategy for the

Qualifications

• Must be an experienced headteacher or principal with a successful track record of school improvement.
• Able to lead across multiple schools and travel between York, Hull, Scarborough and Selby.
• Willing to join the Trust's Executive Team and shape strategy.

Responsibilities

• Raise standards of education and outcomes across our schools, starting with those needing the most support.
• Develop the leadership capacity of Principals and senior teams to sustain improvement.
• Help shape and deliver the Trust’s strategy for the next five to ten years, including inclusion and SEND.
