Job summary

Heartwood Learning Trust is seeking an inspirational Principal to lead a school of about 1,200 pupils in a community facing economic challenges. You will drive teaching standards, improve behaviour and attendance, and widen opportunities for young people inside and outside the classroom.

We offer strong central support, a commitment to professional development, the Teachers' Pension Scheme and safeguarding as a shared priority. Interviews are scheduled for 26th and 27th November 2026.

Qualifications

• Successful senior leadership experience at Vice Principal or Principal level is essential.
