A leading healthcare provider in London is seeking a Critical Care Fellow for its Department of Perioperative Medicine. This role offers the opportunity to work in both theatres and critical care, enhancing skills in a supportive environment. The position operates on a 1:8 on-call rota, with potential for extension based on mutual agreement.

Minimum requirements include training and experience consistent with FY2 or higher.
The hospital features fifteen operating theatres, including two laminar flow orthopaedic theatres, specialist Ophthalmic and ENT theatres, and two theatres in the maternity unit.
Critical Care is provided across two units: ICU 1, a 9-bedded unit refurbished in December 2022, and ICU 2, an 8-bedded unit opened in January 2017 after a £2.3 million refurbishment. The units handle approximately 800-900 critical care admissions annually.

Post holders will have opportunities to work in both theatres and critical care, allowing anaesthetic professionals to maintain their skills and others to learn new skills in a supportive environment. There will also be involvement in Local Quality Improvement Projects. The role operates on a 1:8 on-call rota. All appointments are extendable by mutual agreement.
