Job Description:

CAMHS Professionals are hiring specialist ADHD Non-Medical Prescribers to join one of our reputable private clients' titration team. Due to high demand, we are looking to onboard multiple candidates with start dates each month.

The post holder will be part of a multidisciplinary specialist project team and will provide support to Consultant Psychiatrists by offering Independent and supplementary prescribing interventions to a specified caseload of patients diagnosed with ADHD.

About the role:

  • Fully remote – laptop provided
  • Full-time - 40 hours per week minimum
  • 6-month contract with a temp-to-perm option
  • Highly competitive hourly rates

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Support Consultant Psychiatrists by taking responsibility, under their guidance, for medication initiation and monitoring.
  • Monitor treatment effectiveness and potential side effects; initiate prescribing changes within NICE Guidance (NG87), clients’ policies, and treatment standards where appropriate.
  • Make independent prescribing decisions collaboratively with patients and keep the Consultant Psychiatrist informed during titration, maintaining contemporaneous records in the electronic clinical record.
  • Utilize validated screening and monitoring tools, alongside client protocols, to ensure high standards of patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.

Qualifications required:

  • First-level registered nurse, allied health professional, or medical practitioner.
  • Independent & Supplementary Non-Medical Prescribing (V300) qualification or registered General Medical Practitioner.

Experience required:

  • At least 6 months of full-time experience in ADHD treatment and management within a specialist ADHD service.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage a caseload effectively.
  • Strong IT skills suitable for remote work in an online service environment.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary or multi-agency teams in the past 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills tailored to diverse recipients.
  • Good knowledge of relevant legislation and developments related to ADHD service provision.
