Job summary

NSDAS in Walton on Thames is seeking a compassionate Domestic Abuse Triage Worker to provide initial contact for individuals experiencing domestic abuse in Elmbridge, Epsom & Ewell and Spelthorne.

You will explain the domestic abuse service to clients and offer practical support, safety planning, risk assessments, and guidance on accessing legal aid, housing and benefits. This part-time role requires strong communication and safeguarding understanding.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and a compassionate approach.
• Understanding of safeguarding frameworks and domestic abuse dynamics.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and provide practical support.
