Job summary

Wyre Forest District Council is seeking an experienced tree surveyor to inspect and assess trees across the district, ensuring public safety in open spaces and keeping risk assessments current.

The role involves planning works after inspections, liaising with other authorities for SLA agreements, and handling public inquiries with excellent communication. Flexible rota includes weekends and out-of-hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete all tree inspections of WFDC trees.
• Plan any works required following inspections.
• Deal with members of other authorities to ensure SLA agreements are completed.
• Ensure risk assessments are completed and up to date.
• Respond to and resolve any complaints submitted.
