Job summary

Wyre Forest District Council is seeking an experienced tree surveyor to join our team to keep trees in public spaces safe for visitors and ensure all risk assessments are up to date. You will complete inspections, plan works after inspections, liaise with other authorities to fulfil SLAs, and respond to complaints.

The role demands exceptional communication and flexibility to work across busy parks and quiet reserves.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience as a tree surveyor.
• Excellent communication skills to provide a high level of service.
• Ability to work flexibly in a rota including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Complete all tree inspections of WFDC trees.
• Plan any works that are required following inspections.
• Deal with members of other authorities to ensure SLA agreements are completed.
• Ensure risk assessments are completed and up to date.
• Respond to and resolve any complaints submitted.
