Job summary

Elite Hotels is seeking a Spa and Wellness Manager to oversee our Spa and Leisure facilities in Hook, England. The role combines hands-on treatment delivery with leadership of the spa team and revenue-driving initiatives.

You will manage day-to-day operations, ensure exceptional guest service and maintain high standards of hygiene, health and safety. Weekend availability is required to fit hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification required.
• Experience leading a spa/leisure team.
• Flexibility to work weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the Spa and Leisure Department.
• Lead, support and develop the Spa and Leisure team.
• Manage rotas, staffing, holidays and departmental coverage.
• Maintain high standards of guest service, cleanliness and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, hygiene and operational procedures.
• Oversee treatments, leisure facilities, pool operations and equipment.
• Manage guest feedback and resolve complaints effectively.
• Monitor departmental costs, stock and revenue opportunities.
• Support recruitment, training and performance management.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure a positive guest experience.

Spa and Wellness Manager Overview:

To manage the Spa & Leisure facilities to the high standards expected at Tylney Hall Hotel, delivering excellent customer service while ensuring the smooth and effective operation of all facilities.

This is a hands-on role with responsibility for driving spa treatments, retail sales, leisure membership and overall revenue, while leading and developing the team to deliver consistently high standards.

A Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification is essential, as the role will include carrying out treatments when required. Flexibility is also required, including working some weekends to meet the hotel's operational needs.
