Job summary

BMD Group is seeking a full-time Foreman to lead on-site construction teams across UK projects, supervising daily operations, subcontractors and plant machinery to deliver work safely, on time, and within budget. You will bridge management and operatives, ensure quality control and adherence to drawings and RAMS.

Travel and staying away throughout the week is required for this role on sites including roads, highways and water infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Labour site leadership and site supervision experience.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors and plant operations on civil infrastructure projects.
• Commitment to safety with RAMS compliance and risk assessments.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities to manage on-site teams.

Responsibilities

• Site Supervision: managing crews, plant and materials for earthworks, drainage and infrastructure projects.
• Health & Safety: inductions, daily briefings and toolbox talks to maintain HSE standards.
• Operational Planning: scheduling work activities to meet project specs and drawings.
• Progress Monitoring: tracking progress and recording daily site activities for site managers.
