Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a battle-tested Civil Engineering Foreman for a landmark multi-year infrastructure project in the UK. You will drive on-site production, manage multi-disciplinary crews and subcontractors, and champion a strong safety culture on all works.

You will translate look-ahead schedules into daily tasks, enforce RAMS, and ensure work meets rigorous engineering specifications from start to finish, including earthworks, concrete, and utility diversions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years' experience as a Foreman on large civil projects.
• CSCS Gold/Black Card preferred; SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.
• Proven track record of leading on-site teams and achieving targets.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervising multi-disciplinary site crews, subcontractors, and plant operations to ensure daily production targets are achieved.
• Translating look-ahead schedules into daily, actionable task briefings and toolbox talks.
• Enforcing RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) to the required standard.
• Conducting setting-out checks, managing material deliveries, and ensuring all work meets rigorous engineering specifications.
