Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting a Site Manager (Travel) for Bridgend and nationwide sites on major civil engineering and tunnelling projects. The role focuses on safe, on-time delivery within budget and quality standards, with oversight of site teams and coordination with project and commercial teams.

You will lead day-to-day site operations, ensure compliance with HSE standards, plan activities, and maintain site records while travelling to various sites across the UK.

Qualifications

• SMSTS and CSCS are essential.
• Experience in civil engineering or infrastructure is required.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site activities across civil engineering and tunnelling works.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor works to meet programme targets.
• Lead and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and direct labour.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and progress updates.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, designers, and supply chain partners.
• Monitor performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage materials, plant, and workforce resources efficiently.
• Conduct site meetings, toolbox talks, and workforce briefings.
