Sphere Solutions is seeking an experienced Site Manager for civil engineering and tunnelling projects across the UK. You will manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The role requires SMSTS and CSCS, a full UK driving licence, and willingness to travel and lodge away. You will lead site teams, coordinate with project and commercial teams, and drive continuous improvement on technically complex

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Experience on tunnelling, shafts, deep excavations or underground works is desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and site controls.
• Excellent leadership, organisation and communication skills.
• SMSTS and CSCS are essential; First Aid and Temporary Works are desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel to sites across the UK and lodge away.

We are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a specialist civil engineering contractor delivering complex tunnelling, underground structures, and major infrastructure projects across the UK. This is a permanent opportunity to work on technically challenging schemes within a supportive and professional environment.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead site teams and coordinate all construction activities in close collaboration with project and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site activities across civil engineering and tunnelling works
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor works to meet programme targets
