The company and the role:

Charles Taylor Assistance is a leading provider of medical and security assistance, travel risk management, and travel and health claims solutions, supporting global insurers and businesses.

As a Travel Claims Handler, you will be the first point of contact for customers experiencing unforeseen events. You will empathize with customers, understand their situations, guide them through the claims process, and make a positive impact on their lives.

Some calls may be challenging and upsetting, especially when something has gone wrong with their holiday. It is crucial that you are resilient, empathetic, and able to handle these interactions professionally.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Evaluating claims, verifying insurance coverage via email and telephone, and collecting necessary information and documents.
  • Resolving claims efficiently.
  • Handling a high volume of calls and emails.
  • Providing clear verbal and written guidance to ensure a first-class claim process.
Requirements:
  • High competency in computer usage.
  • Previous call centre or customer service experience preferred.
  • Confident in speaking to people on the phone with excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask between calls and emails.
  • Clear and simple communication style.
  • Natural empathy and a passion for helping travel customers.
  • Focus and commitment during training and beyond.
