Job summary

Oasis Community Housing in Gateshead is seeking a full-time Youth Housing Support Worker to help run two 24-hour staffed projects for young people aged 16–21, delivering trauma-informed, holistic support in line with safety plans.

The role involves collaboration with Gateshead Council to ensure positive outcomes, regulatory compliance, and ongoing Ofsted registration for the projects. Evening and weekend hours are required as part of a rolling rota.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering trauma-informed, holistic support to children and young people.
• Ability to work with local authorities and partner organisations to achieve positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of Oasis Community Housing’s Young People’s Supported Housing Service (Ofsted registered).
• Work with Gateshead Council and Children’s Services to ensure outcomes and compliance with Supported Accommodation Regulations.
