Job summary

Oasis Community Housing in Gateshead is seeking a Support Worker (Days) to join the Multiple Complex Needs Supported Housing and Emergency Accommodation Service. You will be part of a small team delivering person-led, trauma-informed support across two staffed sites and six self-contained units, assisting residents to access necessary services and work towards independence.

• The role requires trauma-informed, person-led and solution-focused support to individuals.
• Duties include information, advice and guidance to access additional services and to enable independence.
• DBS Enhanced Disclosure and satisfactory references are standard employment conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-led, holistic and trauma-informed support to individuals at the Gateshead service.
• Work as part of a small team to run two 24-hour staffed sites and six self-contained units.
• Support service users to access appropriate additional services and move on from the service.
