Changing Lives in Gateshead is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist young people at Eslington House, a 20-bed accommodation service under our Housing & Homelessness Services.

You'll work as part of a small team to provide direct support, guidance, and planning, including risk assessments, safeguarding, and referrals, ensuring each young person receives high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Experience of direct work with young people (16-21).
• Experience with support planning and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of child protection and referral processes.
• Experience with housing management.

Responsibilities

• Support young people (16-21) at Eslington House with guidance and best-practice.
• Contribute to support planning, risk assessment, and referrals.
• Collaborate with the team of 6 day and 4 night support workers.
• Help ensure a high level of support and a safe, supportive environment.
