LinkLiving is seeking a Support Worker for Edinburgh Young Persons’ Service to assist young people aged 16 to 25 facing homelessness and related challenges. You will deliver practical, emotional and social support, manage a caseload, and collaborate with professionals to help individuals move towards greater independence.

Based in Edinburgh with flexible hours (Mon–Fri 9–5, some evenings/weekends). A compassionate, patient communicator with empathy and resilience will thrive in this role.

• No formal qualifications required.
• Good communication skills and empathy.
• Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Support young people aged 16 to 25 affected by homelessness, trauma or life challenges.
• Manage your own caseload and work flexibly to meet individual needs.
• Use a person-centred and trauma-informed approach to build relationships and provide practical, emotional and social support.
• Assist with finding and sustaining suitable accommodation and developing everyday living skills.
• Work with other professionals to help young people move towards independence.
