Job summary

Doncaster Council is seeking a Youth Justice Officer (CDC) to join the Civic Office team in Doncaster on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves trauma-informed, relationship-based practice with vulnerable young people, carrying out holistic assessments and creating bespoke plans while coordinating risk management and ensuring victims’ voices are heard.

The post requires flexibility, including weekend rota and evening work.

Qualifications

• Proven track record within Youth Justice or related fields.
• Experience undertaking holistic assessments and creating bespoke plans for young people and families.
• Sound understanding of risk assessment and case management.
• Familiar with the Child First agenda and trauma-informed practice.
• Willing to work flexibly including weekends and evenings as required.
