Job summary

Kibble is seeking a Child and Youth Care Worker to support children and young people aged 12 to 25 in Open Campus, Safe Centre, Intensive Services and Community Services. You will work trauma-informed, supporting safety, coping skills, and development within a caring team.

You will collaborate with social workers and educators to meet targets and provide ongoing, compassionate care in a residential setting. PVG checks and SCM training are required.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children and young people desirable.
• Be willing to work in any service across the Kibble Group.

Responsibilities

• Direct responsibility for the care and development of children and young people with individual placement targets.
• Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to monitor and achieve targets.
• Maintain placement plans and timely reports for court or social work authorities.
• Handle family contact to support social and educational targets.
