Job summary

Kibble is recruiting Residential Child and Youth Care Workers for houses in Lochwinnoch, Johnstone Inverkip and Largs. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering trauma-informed care to children aged 5-12.

We seek resilient, patient individuals with a strong commitment to safeguarding, willing to be creative in outdoor and play activities, and able to drive for the role.

Qualifications

• HNC in Social Care or SVQ Level 3 in Care or equivalent.
• Be registered with the SSSC or eligible for registration.
• Two years’ experience in the social care sector desirable.

Responsibilities

• Care and development of children with placement plans and targets.
• Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams to monitor targets.
• Meet with families to ensure cooperation and home leave viability.
• Maintain placement records and required reports to authorities.
• Work unsupervised, support trauma-informed care and safety.
