Job summary

Homeless Link is recruiting a Wellbeing Link Worker for the You Matter Leeds Street service in Liverpool. The role provides trauma-informed, therapeutic support to residents in a residential hostel, helping them improve wellbeing, independence and self-care while managing safeguarding responsibilities.

You will work from strengths-based approaches to empower residents, build routines, and promote engagement with health and social care services in a supportive, safeguarding-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable adults within housing, homelessness, health or social care settings.
• Understanding of trauma-informed and psychologically informed practice.
• Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, including mental health, substance misuse, self-neglect or homelessness.

Responsibilities

• Deliver trauma-informed, person-centred support to residents in a hostel environment.
• Build trusted relationships to support wellbeing, independence and self-care.
• Identify risks of self-neglect and coordinate practical support and risk management.
