Job summary

Waythrough is seeking a Therapeutic Intervention Lead to drive and embed therapeutic interventions across Recovery Steps Cumbria. You will provide operational leadership, develop intervention programmes and train staff and volunteers to deliver trauma‑informed, evidence‑based support.

You will promote service user involvement, collaborate with partners, monitor outcomes, and adapt approaches across Cumbria to meet community needs.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Willingness to work towards the NVQ/qualification in post.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and evaluate therapeutic interventions across Recovery Steps Cumbria.
• Coach, train and mentor colleagues to embed trauma‑informed practice.
• Develop structured intervention programmes around substance use and wellbeing.
• Support volunteer and peer mentor programmes involving lived experience.
• Ensure service user voices influence service development and evaluation.
• Monitor outcomes and use data to drive continuous improvement.

Education

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care

Therapeutic qualification (e.g., addiction studies, counselling, social work)
