Job summary

The position requires NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, DBS clearance, and strong communication. The role operates Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., in Monmouthshire/Wales.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
• Experience working with pupils with diverse learning needs in an educational or care setting.
• Enhanced DBS Check and safeguarding training are mandatory.
• Compassionate approach and strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with a wide range of learning needs to enhance their educational experience.
• Assisting pupils to gain independence and participate fully in the curriculum and school life.
• Supporting health and wellbeing needs of individual pupils through targeted interventions.
• Contributing to procedures for promoting attendance and engagement.
• Participating in professional development programs centered on trauma-informed and restorative practices.
