The role focuses on helping pupils gain independence, participate in the curriculum, and access learning in a trauma-informed, supportive environment, with full induction and ongoing development.

Responsibilities

• enhance the learning of pupils with a wide range of learning needs
• support pupils to gain independence and participate in the curriculum and in the general life of the school
• support in meeting the health and wellbeing needs of individuals
• provide targeted interventions to enhance skills and wellbeing
