Vetro Recruitment is seeking a Teacher Assistant for a leading high-achieving school in Newport, South Wales. You will support teachers, assist students, and help maintain an organised classroom from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.

The role offers a competitive daily rate of £92.59 and requires a DBS check and safeguarding compliance. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is expected to qualify candidates for this position.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
• Experience working with children or in an educational setting.
• Mandatory DBS check and safeguarding policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supporting classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
• Assisting individual students or groups to meet learning goals.
• Contributing to the organisation and smooth running of the classroom.
