Job summary

The Housing Network (THN) is seeking an experienced Support Worker for a single accommodation site in Coventry. You will provide trauma-informed, strengths-based support to highly vulnerable residents, building trust and creating outcome-focused plans to help them gain independence.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable people, including families facing homelessness and those with complex needs.
• Ability to apply trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches in daily practice.
• Proven capability to manage a caseload and tailor support plans to individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Providing strengths-based and trauma-informed support, building trusting relationships with residents and creating meaningful, outcome-focused support plans.
• Providing 1:1 support sessions, interventions and signposting to help residents gain independence.
• Managing a caseload of residents effectively to ensure everyone receives and engages with appropriate levels and types of support for their needs.
• Supporting residents to understand and complete tenancy documentation, understand their benefits and identify knowledge gaps that can be addressed through future support and engagement.
• Upholding high levels of safeguarding awareness and protecting residents, colleagues and the wider community.
