Job summary

The Housing Network (THN) is seeking a dedicated housing support worker to assist victims and survivors of domestic abuse within a dispersed service across Greater Manchester. You will build trusting relationships, conduct risk assessments and co-create safety plans to help clients move toward safe accommodation.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide specialist support to victims and survivors of domestic abuse in a dispersed service.
• Hold a Full UK Drivers Licence.
• Knowledge and experience of domestic violence and abuse and related vulnerabilities.
• Experience with trauma-informed approaches and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist support to victims and survivors of domestic abuse using a strengths-based, person-centred and trauma-informed approach.
• Conduct dynamic risk and needs assessments and co-produce accessible support and safety plans.
• Help victims move towards safe, sustainable accommodation and flexibly work within service rota.
