Job summary

Salutem Care & Education's Aston House is recruiting a dedicated Support Worker to provide consistent, nurturing care to young people with emotional, social, and developmental needs. You’ll build trust, support routines, education, activities, and personal growth in a safe, warm home environment.

We value empathy, calm communication, reliability and flexibility, and you’ll work with a collaborative team including families and social workers.

Qualifications

• Committed to Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (England) or working toward it.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consistent, nurturing care to young people with emotional, social and developmental needs.
• Support daily routines, education, activities and family contact.
• Build meaningful relationships through empathy, consistency and communication.
• Contribute to key working sessions, handovers and accurate record-keeping.
• Work collaboratively with families, social workers and other professionals.
• Undertake sleep-in shifts and flexible hours as required.
• Identify and report safeguarding concerns and opportunities for improvement.
