Job summary

The Connection at St Martin’s in London is recruiting a Day Support Worker to join a new 24-hour supported housing service in Wandsworth for 15 residents. You will provide direct support, run daily operations, co-design activities, and work with specialist teams to deliver trauma-informed, person-centred care on a 7-day rota during a 6-month fixed-term pilot.

You will be part of a team delivering intensive support, building trust, and promoting residents’ engagement in services to reduce harms

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting people experiencing homelessness or vulnerable adults.
• Ability to work in a trauma-informed, person-centred way.
• Willingness to work a 7-day rota and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to residents and oversee day-to-day running of the service.
• Respond to residents' needs and ensure safety and comfort for all residents and visitors.
• Co-design and run activities (art, self-care, walks, cooking) with specialist teams.
