Job summary

Your Place (London) Limited in London seeks an experienced Service Manager to lead LB Newham Core and Intensive Support Accommodation services, ensuring high-quality supported housing for vulnerable single homeless adults.

You will provide operational leadership, safeguarding, performance management and quality assurance, develop teams, promote trauma-informed practice and drive resident outcomes from assessment to move-on.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing in supported housing or related social care.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, mental health, substance misuse and tenancy sustainment.
• Experience leading performance, quality assurance, contracts and service improvement.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop teams while promoting an inclusive, learning-focused culture.
• Excellent partnership-building, communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership across LB Newham Core and Intensive Support Accommodation services.
• Oversee safeguarding, performance management, quality assurance and resident outcomes.
• Lead and develop staff teams, promoting trauma-informed and strengths-based practice.
• Drive service improvement and maintain high performance standards.
• Collaborate with commissioners, housing providers and health/community partners to build independence and prevent homelessness.
